Games black out (main menu)

Every single game i try blacks out at the main menu. :(

Its not a video card problem because i tried a 4800SE and same thing happened, i reinstalled drivers and all! I can move the mouse and hear the sound over and everything ( the little clicks).

I tried NFSMW, CoD2, HL2, CSS. Every single one of those games get past the logos and such, but when it comes time for the menu, it blacks out!

Yes, at first i thought it was a problem because of full screen, and its not.

if your using the new Hyperion Pro Driver v5.06 DONT!!!

the AGP driver is fooked up - roll just the AGP back to the previous version and that should sort it.
