Finally a game for the undisputed national champion without controversy. Both Texas and USC have shown they can beat anyone. It should be a great game, but my money has to be on USC.
Naturally mine is on the Horns :)
They have a better defense. Both of them can score. And I live in Austin lol.
I'll wait for brian to chime in :D
Gotta go with Texes on this one (xmasgrin) lost big to the girly on Sat, took UCLA:thumbdwn: now I gotta rub her feet everyday for a week lol:banghead:

This will be a great matchup and I haven't felt really pumped up for a national championship in a long while. That being said, I still feel USC is the team to beat and they will win an unprecedented third straight championship. Should be a good game, I'm expecting a shootout with at least 70 combined points (I hope).
Reggie bush is gonna win the heisman. But the 'horns are gonna win the game

USC You Knoooowwwwwwww!
Okay, this is tough for me to say, as I am a die-hard Sooners fan and just as much as a Texas Longhorns hater (got the tattoo to prove it), but I hope the Longhorns beat the living sh*t out of USC, but only because UT is in the Big 12, well, that and they (meaning USC) embarrassed us last year, but we won't go there. LOL As for the Heisman, I don't care who gets it. Seriously though, USC is beatable and they're lucky to be where they are. Just look at that fumble by Matt "what's his nuts" during the Notre Dame game. If that ball stays in bounds or he doesn't fumble at all, USC loses. Not to mention they've come close to losing other games. Go 'Horns! (excuse me, I think I'm going to be sick)
I saw a pic of a t-shirt made by Aggies for the Rose Bowl. It had the Longhorn emblem with the Horns band-aided and said, "One Game Only: Gig Em Horns!"
I will be slapped a homer, but Texas has the advantage in this game. Yes, Reggie Bush is a great player; we know that. But UT's great player and surrounding cast compared to the USC defense is a much bigger mismatch than USC's great player with surrounding cast vs. UT's defense. Defense wins championships and UT's D is salivating at facing a drop-back pocket passer. Name a team that USC saw this year that had anywhere close to UT's size and speed on defense, defensive line especially.
We already beat Ohio State. OSU had the best chance to beat Texas. Three strong linebackers with the speed to contain Vince couldn't get it done. Moreover, the UT defense gets to see near Bush speed everyday in practice in Ramonce Taylor and Jamal Charles (100m hurdles high school champ) and I am sure Vince and the boys will be giving the D hell in practice for the next four weeks.
It will likely be a close game, but if Texas wins by two touchdowns, it would not surprise me.

Texas win, it will, hmm.
USC have stumbled the last few games and not scored big since Sept. Even though they won, not by much. If they do that against texas, they will run away with it like the bull runnings!

Stumbled? No big points since September? They just defeated UCLA(12th in the nation at the time) 66 to 19 (on December 3rd). UCLA had one of the most potent offenses in the nation and they were put on lockdown throughout. I'm a UCLA fan so that game really hurt.
Just trying to show that USC is not going to roll over and play dead. This should be a classic.
