I just installed this motherboard with any problems except one. I have the Corsair XMS 2G 3500LLPRO installed but the motherboard and windows reports only 1.2 being available. I have tried BIOSs 0703 and 0805 with the same results. What an I doing wrong? Thanks.

Make sure you match the RAM in the colored banks. If you put the memory in right next to each other that will happen.

I've tried A1+B1 and A2+B2 with the same results. Scott@Bjorn3D, can you check the task manager to see how much ram you have available? Thanks.

I got the replacement mother board today, installed it and I'm having the same problem. I can't figure out why this is happening. We have the same set up (mobo ram) and I even tried another set of ram (2G) with the same results. I find it very unlikely that both mother boards are defective. Guess I will have to contact Asus for a solution. :(

Have you tried a different CPU? The memory controller is in the CPU and maybe it is not working right in the chip.

I put the FX-55 back in, no luck. This is so strange.

What BIOS does the motherboard have? I am running the 0805.

I'm using 0805, another thing I've noticed I can't change the multiplyer on the FX-55. It's greyed out! This mobo is starting to pi...... me off. :rw:

Someone posted BIOS version 0903 in the warp2search forums. I've installed it without any issues, please use at your own risk. You can get it here. (http://webpages.charter.net/manderson001/A8N32SLI.zip)

Not yet. I've emailed Asus about the problem. I really hope they will be able to help me find a solution.

The cool and quiet option has to be disabled to be able to change the multiplier.

Can you try the memory in another system (a system already verified as working properly)?

I had the same memory running in an MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum without any issues. I am convinced it's the mobo. I tried another set of memory (2G) with the same result, and this is the second A8N32-SLI Deluxe I have tried.

Have you tried turning off DEP? Also did you try windows x64 edition?

Yes thanks. It's a mobo issue, not a windows issue.

This is the second A8N32-SLI I've tried. I'm guessing there is a conflict with my set up. I have not had the time to confirm my suspicions yet.
