When overclocking in 1mhz increments do i need to let windows load then restart and then go back to the bios. Im asking cause my 256mb OCZ PC3500 EL is coming this morning:) and i wanna get the most out of it.

You can do one of two things, OC w/o going to 'Doze till your rig gets cranky then boot to doze and work backwards. Or you can boot 'doze after every step up. I'd suggest going in 5 Mhz steps till you can't post then bump it down until it's stable.

use a program called SetFSB, it will make overclocking a bit easier

I would try not to load windows until you know the system is stable you can wipe your registry in a hurry with a bad setup. Go to google and do a search for memtest86. Download and make the bootable floopy then try your rig out until memmory starts to fail and drop it a notch or two.
