I think this guy should have known better. Because you NEVER buy something when it first come out because there is always flaw or bugs.

Sucks for those guys. I hope they do get it worked out. However, I've left mine on all night and played it for hours at a time and have yet to experience a single bug-a-boo. (xmasgrin)

That's bull**** IMO. Microsoft said that they are aware that 3 % of the Xbox360's has this overheat defect, which is below average for the industy with launchconsoles. What's the problem anyway? He can get it replaced free on MS's account, he's just a spoiled whiner IMO, one of them people who starts suing everyone and everything that's imperfect and and "imperfectates" his world. Nothing materialistic is perfect, flawless or everlasting, that's life. Imagine how many people that has the right to get, not only refunds, but also compensation for their 'psychic traumus caused by this defect console'.

Sheesh..

Well, Microsoft did want the Xbox 360 to be the "new Playstation 2", guess they accomplished that (http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/driving/jakx/news.html?sid=6139482) :D

Sheesh..

The defect in the console caused him to lose 10 days of work.
His wife left him and his dog died. All as direct results of him purchasing the console! /BS

Unless something caught fire or exploded or someone got hurt due to a faulty product I usually just express my opinion on it or notify the company. A law suit against MS over something with a 3% reproduceable problem in the whole line is pretty stupid. MS will allready be replacing those consoles in time so what does he plan to accomplish?

He is just trying to take advantage of the situation. I hope he loses. I have 0 respect for people who take advantage of our court system.

True enough, but they're off to a good start. Defects, lackluster games, shortages...looks like they're following right in the PS2's launch footsteps :D

(actually I thought the launch games for the 360 were pretty good, but that makes the joke less funny ;))

Actually i thought you were an anti-Sony/pro-xbox fanboy so of course you'd find the launch 360 games good. And Bad_Boy is right btw. If the guys at Microsoft want to increase the number of broken 360's against the old generation they will have to sell more this time around and i really doubt they're gonna...wtf (is being interrupted by Allard)

J Allard: "and we're gonna sell one BILLION 360's"

Well, that takes care of the issue then (xmastong)

Not really, I just like what's enjoyable. I found PDZ and Condemned enjoyable, therefor I think they're good launch games. And it would be a little hard for me to be anti-Sony when my PS2 is currently getting more playtime than my Xbox is (since I don't own a 360 yet). The PS2 launch games, however, I thought were quite disapointing.

FANTAV...oh well, forget about that (xmasgrin) Forgot to express my opinion in my previous post btw. Personally i have zero tolerance for such guys and i hope he loses. I mean, reading the article made me so angry it probably caused me a psychological trauma and i suspect i may live a little less after reading it as well. Should i sue this guy for psychological damages? (xmastong) While having a brand new product fail on you is understandably frustrating, he (and whoever decides to invest on new tech) should have been prepared for that. Whether we're talking about a 3% or a 33% or a 0.3% it doesn't matter (well, of course it does but it just doesn't (xmastong) ) It's a bit of a lottery really and the problem is those folks who take the risk always have the "ain't gonna happen to me" philosophy so... But son of a bitch, there are lots of returned 360's in that article photo aren't there? (xmastong)
