I've had everyting from Voodoo 1,2,3...MX, TNT, Geforce 3 TI (great card)... till latest. except the FX range :D

I plugged in my STB Velocity 128 yesterday, a RIVA 128. Heh heh. I couldn't get it to run Unreal! Apparently it doesn't support a feature the game requires. I was shocked! My Matrox G200 can run Unreal, but not Riva 128?!? Not according to other people on Google Groups.

No wonder they dropped support for RIVA 128. It's not such a great chip. Heh.

i started with the riva 128 and own one from every series except the g3 and the current line. all of em were wonderful cards. it still seems like yesterday when i installed the geforce 256 annhilator pro, what an incredible orgasmic feeling that was. :D

And I can't get it to work but I know it can. I tossed my 3DFX VooDoo cards a few years ago. They would have been older for sure. I think they were ISA cards.(nana2)

I would like to rephase that, what is the oldest NV card you still use. I have a freebsd box using a dual head Geforce 2 mx400.

Yeah I know it's not ancient, but it works well, I had to put another fan on it as the original failed. That card has served me well and is probably over 5 years old. It will probably last me for the life of this system.
