7800GTX 4400 3dmark05 2slow!

I scored a 8499 on my 3dmark05 test

i looked up other peoples test who were at the same speeds as me and average was around 10,000

AMD 4400
Core Speed (2211.3Mhz)
2gb OCZ ram
7800gtx - Core clock 450MHz - Memory Clock - 1200MHz

I have not overclocked yet. i just set my system up last night!

Does anyone have any tweaks i might be able to try out! .. i already installed the HOTFIX for duel core in windows.

but this is my first time with a 7800gtx!

my drivers on that are 81.26 ( i use those drivers b/c i have Windows MCE and the newest drivers will not install on my computer)

PS .. i also noticed some buggy screen glitchs going on while i was running the second half of 3dmark05 ... it looked like the early NINTENDO days when a game would mess up alittle! ...

you dont think i should be hitting b/w 9500 and 10000? that looks to be the norm for my processor and the GTX plus 2gb of ram?

That's the normal score a 7800GTX is able to produce, no matter what the CPU the system carries. It might go a bit higher up if you o/c the CPU a bit, but the video card is already at it's limits, it can't go much higher than that.

If you got those scores from the Futuremark ORB keep in mind that they could be SLI rigs

Hey man,
I got a simillar set up Rig to yours and the first run I got the same.
That was with the 81. drivers .I then put the 77. drivers in and hit over 11,000.
Try using different drivers , man.Ignor my system , Im back to using my A8N SLi as nI couldnt get the 32 to run stable.
mind u I am useing 2 x 7800 GTx but I still hit over 10,000 wit 1 card.....(DRIVERS)

that leadtek card must blow cause if your using two of them and only getting around 10k you got smacktarded im running dual 7800 gts by evga and get over 12k on 3d mark 05 and over 27k on 3d mark 03 mind you my cpu is a 3800 x2 oc @ 2.63 ghz and my cards are running 481 core clock and 1100 memory something is wrong with your cards bro

all cards are manufactured by NVIDIA it's the AIBs that badge them with their own stickers. The difference in score maybe what optimizations u have left on or off in the nV control applet. Furthermore it could be the way an individual have set up the windowsxp or whatever environment. Heck sliding the texture quality from high quality to low quality will definately give an instant increase in 3dmarks!

I did 8800 with fx-55 , 2 g of ocz and 7800 gtx so your score is fine.
