Nice!

We're gonna have to go ahead and upgrade that graphics card in a few months here, for some serious gaming performance :D

Good board! :p

Solid performer without killing the wallet! :)

I've been using the SiS 735 based ECS K7S5A for quite some time now. I've been thinking about jumping on the nForce2 bandwagon because it rawks. While some people fawned over the nF1, I think I said that it was nVidia's first foray into the chipset business and it might be reason enough for some folks to hold off until they hit their maturity level. With the NF1, nVidia was just a bit too green for me. But, I think I also predicted that the eventual successor to the nForce 1 would REALLY turn heads - just like their graphics cards - and we're definately seeing it!

I read Pelly's review of the Chaintech Zenith and I have to agree with him that with that hefty price tag, it shouldn't have that C-media sound. That's just a noggin scratcher if I ever saw one and it's making me consider the cheaper yet equally performing Asus nForce2 offering more seriously. Can't beat the Zenith on extras, though! Nonetheless, I'm sure most people won't be disappointed with either the two. :D

EDIT - Sorry for dropping the ball earlier and not moving this thread from Open to here when I responded. I'm not slacking - just need to get used to being a mod!

nforce2. That just gives me goosebumps thinking about it. :D I'm waiting on AMD's next proc lineup before I upgrade though:( . CHEVYMAN_02. I think you'll be happy with that board.

I bought the nforce because I trust NV more than I trust VIA...

Now no, it wasn't perfect, but it is a solid board with excellent sound and every driver update I get from NV is friggin impressive.

I think I'm actually upgrading towards the end of 2003 :( blah. Better frikkin be able to up the proc and vidcard in a budget manner before that.

sometimes I hate not having a job

My lineup for this year is nforce2 because VIA just sucks ass paired with creative products and I like creative spund cards, then PC3200 and XP2600-2800+, not sure about video card looks like a bad time to upgrade.
