hey guys this might be a stupid question but, i just was able to score a Geforce4 MX440 AGP8x card from work and it has VGA out, DVI out, and svideo i believe. I want to get dual VGA monitors going, so i went to radio shack and got a VGAfemale to DVI-I male adaptor. VGA monitor fits in fine, but the DVI end doesnt fit into the video card.
on the adapter there are 2 pins on the top and bottom of the horizontal bar that aren't allowing it to fit into the video card. do i just need to get a DVI-A adapter instead of a DVI-I? because my adapter reads:29-pin male to VGA Female DVI-I adapter. any input on this would be appreciated. thanks.
