I had some thoughts when I saw those, No UI, could be due to a early build..
URL in watermark doesnt work.
saturation levels are different in vegitation compared to ground..

So what I want to know is where do they come from?
thought there might be a slight possibility they are manufactured, not necessarily as "fake screenshots", but someone else passed then out as that..
Or they´re real, but I cant seem to find much on SC5 on the net..
Is there any source?

Anyhow, if they are real, its looking really nice.

Looks great, if it's real. Seems like roads don't have to be straight lines anymore, maybe you can build them in a similar manner to the way you can build roads in Black & White 2.

I have the same doubts about the shots as jolle, though.

Could be CG renders/artwork pics. They tend to look better than the actual game screenshots.

Eh, I think Sim City has gotten way to indepth for my personal taste. I though the original and 2000 were the best, after that they add so much that my head spins.

Nice graphics though.

Where can I find these again? 2 of the images were removed.

Look at the country side in that last pic, its an ariel photo.... Some of the trees look like photos too. Something doesn't add up, either they are flat photos on the ground that only look effective from a particular angle, or they are "flat" trees that rotate to face you whereever you move the camera (like in many of those old golf games).

Although I want to believe they are real, I'm sure they are faked. Has SC5 even been announced?

Looks fake. Why not have some zoomed in shots???

Since Maxis was bought by EA I don't have a lot of faith in the Simcity series. All of thier efforts are going towards that cashcow The Sims. I hope these pics are real, but I doubt we'll see another Simcity in the next three to five years, if ever.

Yea I think that looks a little too good to be true.

Maxis dont even exist anymore I think.. EA killed off a few developers a while back.. maxis, bullfrog and some more.. Origin a while further back aswel..
ofcource that wont stop EA from keep selling their titles, and making new ones..

They’re fake. A poorly crafted GUI plastered over Dubai architectural project concepts.

Somehow, I don't think these look too real. Some of the shots just don't look like what I'd expect from the game. That given, that I haven't heard of a 5th one having been hinted at (which others seem to have not heard of either) makes me quite skeptical.

All said though, has anyone found some of the resource management in SimCity 4 to be, well...getting a city going and having it all work out. I know there are supposed to be links between different cities one can create or something to that effect (it's been quite some time since I've played), but getting the initial city going so as to build from there... SimCity 2000 and before, seemed easier.

All said though, the worst I ever saw in terms of resource manageament was a game called Afterlife; which if nothing else had a lot of comical value to it :D

Just a random observation: the actual domain simcityworld.com appears to be registered, or at least DNSed, to EA. I wonder why there's no site, though...

Isn't that sort of the point of photo realism graphics?

You know when people saw PGR3 for the first time they claimed the screenshots were fakes becasue they looked too photorealistic. The screenshots may indeed be fake, but the age of photorealism is upon us.
