I'm sure I'll like the single player just like I have with all of the SC games so far. I sure do hope that SvM will use the new graphics engine this time. I notice it doesn't mention Co-Op in there, I hope that doesn't mean it's gone...

From what I was able to get from skimming (don’t have time to leave the window open…I’m at work :p), it sounds awesome. The opposing simultaneous objectives is AWESOME and reminds me a lot of the first season of Alias. This sounds like a really awesome game…is there a release date given in there anywhere? I was skimming for numbers but didn’t see one…

There have also been released a little trailer together with the announcement:

BTW if anyone sees the trailer in WMV-format, please tell me so. My QT-Alternative codecs are screwed and I refuse to install Apple's offical QT =/

So what was the "major innovation to the genre" that they were talking about the game having? Is it the dual objective thing?

Eh, they don't call it a teaser trailer because it sounds cool.

Is this when Sam was younger or is he still getting older? I played only the original Splinter Cell when it came out on Xbox, so sorry if I missed the boat on the age thing- the screenshots just make him look much younger

Good news, or rumor rather, is that SC4 is gonna be a more modded SC3 engine with multithreading made for 360 and possibly for PCs. I really hope they do multithreading for us dual core people. I can't wait....

BTW, it is a fact that they are doing multithreading for the 360, whether or not itll be for PC as well, no one knows yet.

That looks to be one of the best games ever created. Reminds me a bit of "24" and other spy kinds of things. I can't wait to get lines blurry in this game.
