After a long and convoluted process I finally, at least, have the specs for my rebuild done :) . I have most of the parts but things arent together yet, because the XFX 7800GT I recieved has the old 4pin molex connector, I'm hoping that the 2nd one I recieve today is the 6 pin type so I only have to return one card and can get the machine up & running. Anyways, here's what it looks like stock...
AMD Operton175 (2.2ghz, dual core 2x1mb L2)
Abit AN8-SLI
2gb(2x1gb) CorsairXMS PC4000
(2) XFX 7800GT Extreme(s) 450/1050
Audigy2 ZS
Western Digital SE16 250gb 16mb cache HD
Acomdata 160gb Ext. USB 2.0 HD
NEC 2500a DVD-RW
Antec Super Lan Boy
AeroCool 550w Turbine PSU
Saitek Eclipse kb \ Logitech G5 mouse
Logitech Z-5300e 5.1 speakers
Dell 2005FPW LCD monitor

decent? looks really sexy IMO, especially compared to my current system lol. But after Christmas, I will have an actual gaming rig that i can call mine [specs in sig](xmasmile). Good luck with the build, this one is gonig to be my first.

Had to go through afew "alterations"....due to RAM that wouldn't run at its rated speed, a mobo with a bad LAN port and, of course the fan issue on the XFX 7800GTs......but the build turned out nice (cheers)
I was going to go for more aggressive clocks, but once I started testing and seeing how fast it is, I decided to stay moderate :) . Even at "moderate" clocks the #'s look great and the system feels amazingly powerful and so far its unflinchingly stable.
The Goods:
Hardware-
see siggy

Clocks-
Opteron175(2.2ghz) @ 250x10 2.5ghz
RAM 1:1 3 4-3-8 T1
Vid. cards 465/1150

Super PI: 1M- 33 sec, 2M- 1 min 17 sec
3dm01: 30671
3dm05: 12228
AquaM: 103,913

I don't have any games installed for scores, sorry....Today I'm going to let it break in on some more Prime95 torture testing ...and pics tonight, if its not a smoking hole :)

The only thing I would change is the case, go a bit bigger or with a bit more cooling. Ask Zoomy, heh.
