Over clocking a Athlon 64-3700(San Diego)?

My system:

Athlon 64-3700(San Diego)

EPOX EP-9NPA + Ultra

2GB PC 3200 Timmings are 2-3-2-5


I have had this system for about 7 months already and its great. I was thinking about over clocking it. I have never ever over clocked before. How fast could I over clock it and still be safe? Also how do i do it? And would over clocking even make a big Difference ?

you will more then likely have to loseing the timmings if you overclock it very high ,unless you set your memory at 166mhz and go from there.But since it is a san Diego it should overclock pretty good,I keep my A64 S754 3700 clawhammer at 220 x 12 2.64gig at 1.5v and my cpu temperture stay at 29c to 30c just at idle so you should be able to get 2.5 to 2.6gig at least ,and maybe more the only way to find out is to do it and see,IMO I would'nt overclock the cpu voltage to much and just watch your tempertures.
