Corrupt Recycle Bin

When I delete a file and send it to the recycle bin no icons appear in the bin display. However if I click on "delete permanantly" or "restore to original location, a line appears indicating that there are files in the bin. Any suggestions will fix the thing will be appreciated.

Theres a hidden folder on your hard drive(s) called RECYCLER. As long as any files in the recycle bin are not needed, you can delete the whole folder. It will be recreated automatically by Windows.
