Review...not bad considering that I'm not interested at ALL in water cooling. However, this review is actually not bad at all...in fact...it is one of the greatest reviews of all time due to the MOST AWESOME usage of a lyric from a Presidents of the United States of America song. I recognized it instantly and laughed loud and long. It was beautiful.

Nice job Brian. It is too bad that the 4005 didn't impress much as it seemed to hold some promise at first glance. Thanks for the extra effort of doing multiple checks and tests in giving this as much of a chance as possible.

Hmm...what you say about ThermalTake really strikes me as true. They pump their products up really high, and in reality, most of the stuff I've used of theirs has been a letdown. I had the Volcano 11+ for my old Barton 2600+ and that thing had to run at 5500RPM CONSTANTLY, to keep the temps at 45C idle. If I turned the fan down to 2400RPM, the CPU was at 60 within 30 seconds.

Talk about disappointing. Ah well, it was a well-written review and I liked your graphs/charts. :) Good work man.

Yea, I have never been a fan of Thermaltake stuff... especially their watercooling products, they have all been... mediocre at best.

The volcano11 was a loud beast that was popular, but thats about it. I never understand why Thermaltake stuff is so popular, yet so lacking.

To give them credit, their newer cases, like the Shark and the Tsunami, are much improved over the Xavier cases.

The worst part is that it weighed almost as much as my Thermalright SLK-900A but sucked ass. The SLK-900A is just the epitome of a socket A cooler.

But yeah, I don't know why people like them so much. Their cases are pretty decent, I'll give them that, but otherwise...no thanks.

I am very suprised at the poor performance that this "heatsink" received. As I was looking at the design I noticed that due to the excessive copper pipes with bends and turns the flow rate of the water would undoubtbly slow to a crawl if not stop at all. This could be very bad as the Thermaltake Bigwater Kit has a very little pump. However I am betting this product would be phenominal if coupled with a higher capacity pump somthing that can push the water through at a high speed. I am going to do some investigating maybe even buy this unit just to see.

Keep us posted on this. I would have liked to see it perform better, also.
