I started getting bsod's last night, atleast 3 in one hour after a month of perfection
did a memory test last night and the screen was filled with memory errors

that was at 3 4 4 11 , 233mhz , 2.7 and 2.8 volts


Overclockers forums reporting many ballistix memory dieing

So RMA it, It has a lifetime warrenty on it. I really dout its a widespread problem, mine ran great at 250mhz for the time I got to use them (before MB died).

And I have seen plenty of people use them for over half a year without issue...

Must be a new batch since everyone I know who has had/have them never had any issue with them but they all got theres months before.

I've had to RMA mine twice now (mikec) .....so his point does somewhat stand

Seems to be, these ram chips unless air cooled run insanly hot, you can
hardly touch em and thats underclocked!


I've had to RMA mine twice now (mikec) .....so his point does somewhat stand

Ive packaged it up ready to be sent tomorrow

Ignore him sandeep, personally i think all should be concerned some of these
ram sticks have lasted atleast a year before totaly dieing others within a few weeks.

Id wish mine lasted a year :(

I rma mine also had about 5 months, they sent the new ones back in two days shipping from them brand new pair of crucial ballastic tracer,s they have a good rma service though, I sure hope these last'.(santa2)
