I've recently gotten into playing games on my pc, but i'm not able to play the most current games because of my graphics card... So I really need everyone who is willing to give adivce as to what video card I should get. I have a 2.6 mhz pentium 4, with 1 gb of ddr 3200 memory, windows xp, and my current video card is a Nvidia Geforce fx 5200 agp. Which a few of people tell me is pretty ancient when it comes to video cards. I'm willing to spend from 150 to 200 dollars on a card, so please I would like to hear what are some of the best video cards for my computer.
Go for a 6800GS if you can :)

my system isn't pci express only agp.
You will be able to get the 6800GS in AGP soon. Or you can go for a 6800GT if you can find them.
I'd wait on benchmarks and the price of the 6800GS AGP, as it is underclocked. Heck, and X800GTO lags behind the standard clocked GS in benchmarks, but might compete favorably to the AGP version.
Until we see benchmarks and an official price, I'd have to say that the best AGP card in your price range is the
X800GTO AGP 256MB - $193 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102608)
I think on some of the GTO's you can even unlock the extra quad :D

Sapphire X800GTO2 and Connect 3D X800GTO are unlockable . On the otherhand maybe 6800GS AGP maybe unlockable too if its on nv40 core .
Evga has it for preorder on their website , but its for 249U$D

The benchmarks for the 6800GS was pretty dam good from the ones I have see ,The 6800GS is way faster then the 6800GT and when overclocked slightly it is almost as fast as the 6800ultra,But the X800GTO looks pretty good and overclocks well but it does not offer support for PS3andVS3 and ultrshadows as the 6800GS does and it should help in more and more games as they come out.If you can wait I would get the 6800GS and if you can't wait then go with the X800GTO either one will be a big improvement over the FX5200 you have now.
