Well basically I’ve had my XFX GeForce 6800 graphics card for a couple months now and it was a huge improvement from my old one. So, I didn’t notice that it wasn’t running that well. My friend who got a GeForce 6600 GT could run games waaay better than mine. So I got to thinking that my card wasn’t running at its highest performance. Anyways, here are my specs, could someone help me by suggesting some ways that I could improve my graphics card? I’m kinda new at this stuff too, so if I’m missing anything, just let me know. Thanks!

2.4 or 1.8? Either way your CPU isn't exactly a slouch but it could be what is holding it back.

Suggestions:

1. Make sure you have the latest driver version.
2. Try unlocking the extra pipes and vertex shader with RivaTuner http://downloads.guru3d.com/
3. Try overclocking your core and memory if you can (RivaTuner).

A faster CPU could help some but will not make a huge difference. Try the above first.
