I've completely missed this! I know it's kind of old news already but I searched the forums and couldn't find a single thread about this upcoming game. I absolutely loved the front mission series and I've got high hopes for this one! It looks great(well I'm comparing to the previous games in the series) and it looks like all the best elements of the old games have been kept and the new features also look like they would be fun! Is there anyone else on these forums who's a front mission fan or am I the only one? (xmastong)

Yeah, I really liked the demo of FM3 on the PS1, and I have FM4 but haven't gotten around to playing it yet. It does look like it could be pretty fun, I like strategy games like this (even though I'm usually not a turn-based fan).

Also, a new (Japanese) trailer was released for the game just recently at Gametrailers.com: http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=8828&type=mov

You've got a nice game waiting for ya! :) Front mission 4 was very nice, the graphics aren't really amazing, or even close to that btw, but it's very fun! Just read that FM5 wouldn't be released in europe, which I hope is false but I have to look into it a bit more...

I always sort of wanted to get into them, but never did :\.

The Front Mission series is one of my favorite game franchises as well. The only one I never got into was Front Mission 2 which was a completely different game than all the others (think Metal Slug). I love the concept that FM5 has where the whole game seems to deal with the events of the USN.
