PureVideo Decoder

Is it possible to use the nVidia DVD Decoder WITH WinDVD? I really like WinDVD's interface and featureset, but I did notice the quality difference with nVidia's decoder in WMP10. I've searched and read most treads about the decoder. There is no tray icon with WinDVD.

BTW. I have a Geforce 6800GT. And the 12/20/05 version of ForceWare.

there was talk about support with windvd but i havent heard anything official yet... im sure if there was nvidia would have something on there webpage.

does the purevideo work with any other players? also how do you know that its working with WMP?

I personally use PureVideo with Media Player Classic, but it works with Windows Media Player and Zoom Player as well, among others. You'll know when its working when a little nvidia icon pops up in your system tray by the clock.
