Anyone know of a good screen recorder for games besides fraps?

i cant get it to record at 60fps. it only does 40fps

Have it record to a hard drive thats not running the game, like a slave drive.

Yeh Ive tried that. still no go.
my OS is C:\, my Game is D:\, and recording to E:\

C: + D: are the same drive partitioned but E: is a physically seperate

Have you tried changing the codec it uses to record? I use xvid most of the time.

how do i change the codec?
Im using ver 2.6.0 b4791

dont see any option for video codec. only sound options
