There was something in another thread about it that made me think it'd be around $100-150. It said something about costing the same as something else that was around that price range, I think...Bah. I can't remember, but that's the impression I got.

They said that it would cost less than a mobile phone.... which isn't saying much, because mobile phones can cost up to ~500. :wtf:

Shouldnt you guys wait for some reviews on this? This is some really new stuff, Id be at least a little wary of something that has tiny LCD screens in every key. If people have problems with paint rubbing off of normal keyboards, what the hells going to happen to this after prolonged usage? :o

"my S key has 2 dead pixels!" :p

I want one as well, but $100-$150 for something really fragile youre going to be smashing on all day seems kinda risky IMO.

EDIT: Man, after looking at it some more... its so cool... it better be durable, because I want one ;)

It uses OLED Technology so there is no need to worry about dead pixels, main worry is the lifespan of the key displays. I mean reason we don't have main displays made out of OLED is due to the issue with short lifespans.

The plastic on the keys from the shots looks pretty thick, I might be pretty dam durable.

Look at the Internet Explorer key, you can see the thickness of the plastic.

much better style than those horrible gaming keyboards, still a bit like a childs toy though.

Yeah I was noticing that they look pretty thick, which is great :)

If they have a decent warranty and it turns out that they last a while, I'll probably get one. There are just sooo many cool things you could do with that keyboard.

Heh, yours is a day before mine so I guess I can say the same.:D

I've been waiting for this to come out, as I need a new kb anyway. I hope the reviews are good because this kb looks sweet.

All they say is "good things come in small packages"

I hope the keyboard does come out then, but by it not being shown at ces makes me doubt it will. If I had to guess I would say the small thing is a keypad of some sort to show off the tech. I also think the keyboard will retail for around 250-300.

You are aware that it's just a three-button mini keypad that's coming out on 2/1, right?

I would pay up to $200 for one of these.

I highly doubt they'll do a "hard launch." February 1st they'll probably have a lot of working samples and you'll see articles from major review websites.

This keyboard can't last longer than about three years or so if it uses OLED technology, and only about two years with heavy usage. If you leave your computer on 24/7 then it won't last much longer than a year. At least it won't have full color for that long anyways. The best OLEDs out there have a lifespan of 10,000 hours. After that, the blue color channel starts to fade out and all of the screens will appear yellowish.
