Are you okay?
-Yeah, sure.
Yes sir?
-Yes sir.
No, did you say "yes sir."?
--I think he said "yeah, sure."
---What'd you say man?
-When I said, "yeah, sure", but what... literally what I said was "yeah, sure, sir."
So you are okay then?
-Yes sir.
So, Who's on first? :)

CPU limited :)

No it do not look like it CPU limited after had a look around 3DMark05 benchmark forum, one overclocked a 4400+ at 2.6GHz and 2x 7800 GTX 256 at 480MHz scored over 13,000 3DMark05. I think it Crossfire limited.

I still don't understand this HDR+AA feature.

I thought that ATI hw was able to run AA in games like Far Cry or Serious Sam 2, without any sort of codepath in those games.

If the game needs a codepath to allow HDR+AA in ATI hw, then, what's the difference with HDR+AA by software in Geforce 6/7 cards ?

Somebody, please, explain me the difference, & where's my mistake.

I thought i read somewhere that ati run hdr+aa in a similar way they run vertex texture fetch. Basically they dont support hdr with aa or vtf so they have a work around, its slower but it works.

But, i don't see the difference. If the developers need to add code, what's the difference with nvidia cards ? If i cannot force it from the control panel, it's useless for the end user, i think. Well, we can wait for software patches, but in this case, what's the difference ? I think it's pure ATI markenting this time. But, not the 1st time that i'm wrong.

hmm hard to say that with certainty because two different test systems. Also dual core helps out ATi too in 3dmark05, so might want to add in another 600 points or so to their score if they were using a dual core system.
