My Gigabyte's don't like OCing :(. Anything above the stock 430/1200 causes artifacts like no tomorrow... Stock cooling, mind.

490/1.3 ghz. Both factory clocks from xfx, no additional overclocking. My idle is about 35-40. My gaming is around 50-55.

490/1300 Haven't really tried to go higher though. Coolbits detects 518/1340 as recommended though.

Idles around 35C. Never goes above 40C under load.

490/1.3 both stock. No need to try to overclock, its plenty fast in almost all my games

I have both of my Evga's set to 490/1200 ,I have had one of them to 520/1275 and the other ,the highest I got was 515/1250 ,I have not tried to overclock them in SLI mode besides they are already set to 490/1200.
You can set your voltage to 1.5v with the 7800GT and it seem to work just fine ,I have not heard of any horry stories yet of anyone frying one with it just set to 1.5,I have heard of a few people frying them ,but they had the voltage set way higher then 1.5v.The Nibitor works good setting your voltage to 1.5v on the 7800GT,but as with any modding there is always that chance you could mess it up.

My sig says 475/1150 but that was with my first two GT's with the 4pin power connectors ....but, the new 6pin type that XFX replaced for me easily got 480/1200, so far.

BS on the temps. Not possible unless you have like 20c ambient air or phase change.....

I'd have to agree unless that bigwater is really good. What block are you using for your card and are you logging the temps while you're gaming or are you alt+tabbing back to windows to check the temp? The delta is usually still about 10 degrees most of the time.

490/1300 on my Point of View 7800 GTX. Flashed that so it's 24/7.
Max it does is 500/1395 with +40 geometry clock. More if i lower geometry clock (as XFX does).
Max load is 80 Degrees. Soon to be watercooled.
