ok heres the deal im building a new pc with new parts new case and all and want to know the best hardware to get. I have a ideal and this is what im planing to use in my case
1. case= xion 2 black gaming case comes with 450W PSU and one side window with 80mm neon green fan and 2 120mm neon green led fans i do not know the rpm's to the fans but they have to be good if it's a gaming case. The case has 7 exp slots and holds 4 ext 5.25 drives and 2 ext 3.5 drives and 5 int 3.5 drives and has 2 front mount usb ports on the front

2.addons= two int cd/dvd drives to one soundcard splitter cable this will be used for my combo drives which will be 2 dual layer 16x dvd+ and dvd- drives

3.a backup 80mm fan from aerocool the X blaster which put out 4,000rpm and moves 52.8cfm of air and fan noise is 45.6 dba i know that is loud and it uses a 4 pin connecter

4.my motherboard is a K8T neo-v atx socket 754 my chipset is the VIA k8t800
my system bus speed is 1600Mhz=800x2 and the memory the board supports is pc3200 ddr400 which memory will i put in this board i don't know yet it holds 2GB and it has 2 IDE ultraDMA ATA 133/100/66 channels and all the other great stuff like raid 0 raid 1 serail ata 1.0 it transfer at 1.5gbps
i don't have no pci express so the board on uses AGP and pci cards and the AGP is 3.0 compliant at 8x and 4x

5. my cpu is going to be a AMD Sempron 2800+ running at 1.6Ghz voltage is 1.4V it use the 130nm technology with hypertransport using one 16x16 link up to 1600Mhz so that's all the details.

so what is the chance of getting a AGP card that will not slow my pc down and will be able to stand the test when i get a chance to OC it i already have a card that is a evga nvidia 5200 light version but i don't think it can stand the speed of this motherboard without slowing it down plus i want a 256MB card and not a 128MB card so if and body can help me out please hit me up on msn AOL are yahoo are just write me back on this post.

It might help if you could give us the budget you're looking to work with, so we can help you get the most bang for your buck.

It also would help if you used capitalization and punctuation so it wasn't necessary to read what you wrote three times to try and understand the point you're trying to make.

If you are building a super caming pc why would you use socket 754 and a sempron? especially at 1.6ghz.No pci-e.....ok.That list that you made sound like a pc I built for a friend last yr,except his is a socket 939 amd 64 +3500 with dual raptor drives and will eat this machine alive. If you really want a fast machine give us your budget,I'm sure the guys around here will come up with an excellent machine in your price range(nana2)

my price range is around $300 for now untill my money comes through then my price range will jump. Hey im new to this though but i been working on pc all my life im a network pc repair person and i can do a damn good job i give hackers a hard time lol they attact me every day. But for gaming im new and just started but but i have alot of connections in the pc business with chip makers in japan and in the US but im starting out with a low budget and i plan the OC this pc how with 2 huge 140mm fans 120mm is what my case comes with but the new 140mm fans just came out so im going to get 2 and that will be anough are flowing through my pc. An about the memory can i use dual channel and who is better cosair, geil are OCz im going with 1GB for now so i want the best 512 pc3200 ddr400 money can buy.

You may as well wait until you can afford to spend some more money. Getting an AGP-based system from the ground up is entirely pointless as your graphics card choices are limited to last-generation products. Wait until you can afford an Athlon 64 Socket 939 system with PCI-Express, or SLI if your budget wll permit.

Well this is just a start up systems i just want something to play games like need for speed UG2 and most wanted and maybe some massive multi player games like half life 2 and UT2004 my old pc played all 3 of them games fine and it never lagged even when hosting and my cpu was only a AMD athlon xp 1700+ clocked at 1.4Ghz but OC to 1.6Ghz but even i got it to go higher and end up hitting 1.942Ghz how i got it i don't even know where to begin with the right cooling and memory i think i could of got it at a higher clock speed if possible. The only thing about it the cpu was built into the board itself never in your life buy these boards it was giving to me by a friend so im lucky i didn't have to pay no money for it. Oh yeah that MB was made to OC in the bios the board only had 133Mhz FSB but the OC FSB was 149Mhz and i think it was the same chip you could unlock the 12x multi bridge but i never got that far my highest multi was 11x but being it was a built in cpu it didn't let me get that far.

Holy run on sentence batman...I ran out of breath just reading this.

Here's a suggestion about your computer. Wait a few more months, save a bit more money, and go with a socket 939, pcie system. That way, when you upgrade in the future, you won't have to do your whole system again. This will save you money in the long run. Like Saturnotaku said.

PS. Notice the PERIODS and other punctuation that everyone else uses in their posts. Making your posts a pain in the arse to read/understand won't help you get a helpful response.

Well i might wait but if i don't i'll put up the specs of the pc im going to build anyways. But for now im going to fool around with the socket 754 and i could always put a higher clocked amd 64 are sempron on this board.

Maximum PC just had an article on building a $300 PC. They used these parts:

AMD Sempron 2800+ $75
MSI RS480M-IL $80
Generic 512MB PC3200 $38
80GB Seagate Barracuda 7200 SATA $45
Lite On 16x Double Layer $42
Generic ATX Case $30
Ubuntu Linux $0
Total: $310

Yeah that sounds about it, Besides the motherboard and the memory,Plus i might use a bigger hard drive than a 80gb only because i already have a 60Gb and the lite on double layer drives is what im getting i'll have 2 double layer drives which will be koo so i can burn movies and play games at the same time. Oh yeah im not getting a generic case i got my eyes set on xion 2 gaming case it has eveything i want plus im outfitting it with 2 140mm fans and keeping the 120mm fans for backup.

Uh, wow. I think I need to take a breather after reading those posts... But aside from the grammar issue...Why are you getting a 939 and a 754? I thought you had a $300 budget?

Well, then kick your current stuff to the kirb and wait for socket M2 or go FX60 plus 7900GTX Sli in March. Now that would be a gaming pc.
