What? Oc to 400mhz, 16/6, like an 6800U. But his scores are really bad. 4700 points at 400mhz on the gpu. His cpu is a 2.6ghz P4 however.

Yeah, my 6800GT gets about 5600 3DMark'05 points- it's oc'd to 400/1.18 though but my proc is a s754 2800- I still wonder why his score was so low.

A 2.6 P4 is pretty slow. ;)

It still shouldn't be that low. 3DMark05 is mainly GPU. It might set you back 100, 200, or maybe 300 points.

youd be very surprised at how poorly intel chips perform.

A 2.6Ghz P4 is a POS for the most part... im sure a good AMD 64bit CPU would score over 5000 with that card unlocked.

Yah, I got my 6800GS AGP yesterday, and it does UNLOCK and OVERCLOCK!

I unlocked it to 16 pipes and 6 shaders. Also it overclocked to 420/1.1 on a zalman VF700-cu. I bet it will do atleast 450/1.2 or higher, but i'll let it burn in a bit before i push it more. It's a hot card though, 38c idle, and 56+ load.

Because it's a different chip. The quads are locked in hardware.
