Hi folks,

It appears alot of people have different experiences with different versions of nForce drivers.

About to do a format, start afresh, what version/s would you recommend I use for XP32 Pro , as I know these can be a mixed bag and quite unpredictable at times. Some folks were complaining of decreased system performance using the 6.70s.

Would you care to share your experiences of them as of late?

Cheers,

6.70 runs very good in my case, but i integrated them in my Windows CD, so i don't install it after format and new OS. Everything runs fine without any bluescreens or something.

greetings,

Peacemaker.

p.s.

if you worry about hdd speed, don't worry. mine two hitachi 7200rpm got 93mb/s transfer rate in SisoftS test. WD Raptors 10k got 94mb/s :)

I use the 6.70 and they´re performing well but if you have a WD Raptor 36 Gigs remember to disable NCQ in SATA properties, if not you would have a lot of problems.

I'm using the 6.70s and things are good here. I'm using Maxtor SATA hard drives.
