keep in mind these aren't what the final product will be like, but Nintendo did comission this comapany to conduct research for them, so this is probably what the interface will look like.

That interface looks like a bad angelfire website :\.

obviously the interface is gonna change. They are just images from a research study. The important thing is what the research study said on pricing and what games are available.

NES gamse: 2.99
N64 games: 19.99
or a monthly fee of $14 per mo

Hmm...not a very good selection of games.

They don't even have some of the better snes games, like shadowrun or chrono trigger. All they have are nintendo brand games, and even then a very limited selection of them.

Im sure there will be plenty more, this is just for a research thing

How could N64 games be $19.99? Isn't that just a ridiculous price for 10 year old games when there are NEW games come out for that price (Damnit people, buy Phantom Dust already!). And $3 for NES games? Even that's stretching it a bit, I mean we have classic game compilations out there that are 20 games for $20 (although admitedly a few of them suck badly). This seems like a convenient solution for people that don't want to mess with emulators and such, but I think for most of us here emulating the games will provide a far better experience (well, I guess that's a bit misleading since they're technically emulated on Nintendo's virtual console, as well).

I'm surprised Sin and Punishment is on that list though...are they finally translating that for the English market just to put on their Virtual Console?

i agree with that, cause i still have my NES with about 200 games. i dont own any other consoles, cauise they dont interest me. sure the technology is neat adn i read about it and all, but nothing and i mean niothing is pure enjoyment like NES

Licensing Issues?

Licensing Issues?
That's what I was thinking. I can't imagine that they wouldn't go to the third party developers and work something out to get their games on the service, though, especially since it provides a way for them to get extra cash out of ancient games long out of production.
