This does NOT happen in all my games but a few, i tried that new york
tycoon game and it looked like vsync was off... as i panned the screen
across i was getting noticable tearing and it didnt look smooth like vsync was
off.

But in the drivers it is ON as i can load another game and it works as it should
:thumbdwn:

The down side is aswell it doesnt work with directx tweaker so i cant FORCE
vsync

This was with the previous driver's 81.X please dont use that as an excuse ;)

Im working with directx tweaker dev to get it working correctly :D :D

p.s i was asking for advice, the replies thus far are a little hmmm childish?

vsync on and make sure refresh rate is 60Hz

it is...

its only happening with TWO games

ufo aftershock <- this was sorted by using directx tweaker
New york tycoon.

So out of the 45 games ive played in the last year
only two are doing it , perhaps a bug? :thumbdwn:

Here's another thread on this. Maybe something in it will help.

In general, the advice was to set the Nvidia CP to app preference and set vsync on/off in the game. If the game doesn't provide an option, try forcing it in the nvidia CP.

Vsync works for me so I'm not sure what else to try if that doesn't work.

New york tycoon doesnt have that option... though it was a PRE release
demo i have posted it on the forums :(
