Super Bowl Teams?
Panthers vs Steelers
Superbowl Winner?
As much as I want the panthers to win it, I think bettis will go out with a bang :/

blah, this yrs superbowl will :thumbdwn: Manning should of continued driving like he'd started instead of throwing for the endzone on two straight downs.

I want Steelers to win... they deserve it and Bettis needs a ring before he retires... he deserves it more than a lot of other people.
Thank god the colts are out. I pick the steelers over the carolina panthers in this years superbowl.

i too think it will be Steelers and Panthers..... however Panthers are my team to expect them to run those Steelers into the mud!
To be quite honest, both teams are evenly matched. With all this CRAP that the referees have been calling lately, I think the winner will be whoever the referees like the best :rofl:

I watched the steelers colts game here in the uk and i couldnt believe the troy polamanu call. It was an inerception.

I think yesterday they said the ref made a mistake and it was... but can you imagine if Colts managed to win because of it? Would the win be turned over? :\

The colts almost did win..... If the Colts would have made the field goal kick towards the end of the game, they would have went into over time and i believe the colts would have won.
Panthers were in the same boat. They got so many points taken away that they got FAIRLY it was sickening....
I really do think whoever the refs like the best will win the SuperBowl.
The win would NEVER EVER be turned over, no matter if the ref came out in the open and stated he was trying to make the colts win. As it shouldn't be, who knows maybe the refs pulling for the colts actually HURT them? Its unlikely but possible in sports..... The NFL needs to hire better refs as oppose to pointing fingers.

I feel some sympathy for the refs. Their job is a hard one. People demand perfection in this regard and if you screw up people are hunting for your head. Seriously. I'm surprised this sort of thing doesn't happen more often really.

I am willing to bet the break down of people's picks are as such because of region. No one picked the Seahawks.
Yep...I'm a Carolina guy. I have pulled for Carolina ever since they formed. (In VA, most people pull for the Redskins...Yuk) I pulled for them even when they had year after year of losing seasons...unlike some Fairweather Johnsons out there.

That's cool. Being up here in Seattle, we never get any resepect. We are a smaller market and out of the way. Same thing happens with My Washington Huskies. They have been a top team for decades but you don't hear much about them. That is just the way it is. Most sports writers are east coast.
The seahawks are good but I cant see them beating the panthers especially if Alexander is out. You will need a good running game to beat them.

when people think of Seatle... they dont think of FOOTBALL.... they think of Pearl Jam :cool:
BTW I am from Virginia and have been a diehard Carolina fan since day one (nana2)

Well ive been living in NC for a good while, so being a carolina fan is kinda a given here :x
My biggest worries are that Alexander is indeed playing, and Foster on the panthers is out for the season. The fact that its an away game for Carolina doesnt help either. :( Whoever wins it will definately be a good game.
Jake, Steve and Nick better not **** up! (especially Nick Goings, alot is riding on him now that Foster is out)
I don't like beating a team when their star player is out. I like beating a team and their star player. I straight up competition.

Kinda like fighting the "War On Terror" and not finding any WMDs in Iraq. WMDs=Star Player. Its just not fair. (nana2)

The 'skins should be in the final four but...oh nevermind...maybe next year.
I guess I'll pull for Carolina. I have friends that really like the Steelers and Broncos but it's hard for me to pull for an AFC team. Actually, I guess I don't care, I hope the Seahawks or Panthers win it all.
