I have been having some weird things happening with the 82.12 drivers, so I thought I'd do some comparisons to see how they hold up to the old tried and true. The weird thing is in C&C Generals: Zero Hour. My map keeps dissappearing! It never did this with old drivers, so here goes the tests:

All tests were done at 1280x1024 2QAA/4xAF quality mode all used FRAPS:

Champ Car Challenge (F1Challenge 99-02 engine) Long Beach, 1 lap
82.12
Min, Max, Avg
44, 69, 58.967

67.66 (best drivers for a 6800GT!)
Min, Max, Avg
46, 74, 61.800

IQ was comparable! I really thought the 82.12 would take it in IQ, but NO!

Call of Duty 2 (1.0) Tunisia town
82.12
Min, Max, Avg
58, 151, 96.900

67.66
Min, Max, Avg
55, 153, 90.867

again, IQ was almost identicle, except on 82.12 I had one faint and rare ripping anomaly.

Richard Burns Rally (run under High Priority) 1st USA stage
82.12
Min, Max, Avg
107, 169, 136.750

67.66
Min, Max, Avg
81, 87, 84.483

82.12 clearly has a lead here, I guess because of high priority (RBR has issues running under XP, documented data) developer ceased patches.

Need For Speed: Most Wanted Black Edition 1.2 Sprint around college (forget exact stage)

82.12
Min, Max, Avg
0, 62, 42.083

67.66
Min, Max, Avg
0, 59, 37.983

There is a bug in this game, whenever you run the benchmark in fraps it locks up for 5 seconds, hence why the 0 minimum fps. worth noting, IQ was BETTER in 67.66. The asphalt was more clear and vibrant, and car reflections rendered properly (showed proper AA, as 82.12 did not)

Any questions regarding tests?

RBR issues??? I've been playing it since day one on Xp-pro.No issues;) And there is a new patch available 1.1 or 1.2 use whichever you want.Richard Burns Rally(tm) 1.02 Update
""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

Bug fixes:
-----------
* The redbull animation (cans sticking out of the arms...)
* AMD crashes for people having processors not supporting SSE (now tested over here and it seems to work fine). Installer detects if the processor supports SSE and installs the right exe for RBR depending on this.
* Smashed windshield is no longer black.
* Slow-downs in replays should now be fixed.
* Option to invert steering axis (Set the desired axis to change to true in the input.ini file).
* The glass shader bug reported by www.richardburnsrally.de is now fixed.

I was using 1.02. The issue is, it stutters, for about 75% of the people who have it, it stutters. The FPS is above 90 but it's stuttering. You have to use "High pririoty" to get it to play correctly. This has been documented VERY well over at Blackhole Motorsports.
