I have installed the XP/2000 dirver!
except i can't run anything that requires 3D HARDWARE :(

and in DXDIAG i get this

Direct3D functionality not available. You should verify that the driver is a final version from the hardware manufacturer.

Have you enabled hardware acceleration? What about all the DirectX acceleration features using DirectX diagnostics? On Windows 2003 all this is disabled by default.

Rewt is right. It sounds like you haven't enabled DirectX acceleration yet.

I have a few questions...if you are running W2k3, why do you need any of this stuff? You are using it as a server, right? There is NO reason to run this as a workstation/gaming pc. It has more overhead by default, even if it is slightly more secure. Finally, its quite an expensive OS to be running for a single machine that isn't doing any server work...hmmmmmmmm.

Ok, enough badgering. :D Go here:

If you go through all of its suggested tweaks, you'll have a WinXP environment for the OS. This should solve your issues with drivers/3d acceleration. Good luck.
