Here is a comparison between the QX6700 at 2.667GHz and the E6600 at 3.2GHz:

Looks good so far. The game scores are around 10 fps slower than before, so there is plenty of room for improvements :)

~ 8800 marks on 8800GTX/4800+ :D
I only get 9870 with SLI and the 4800+. :(

CPU limitation :thumbdwn: .. dosent matter though when your actual games run smooth @1600x1200 or 1920x1200 , 4xAA ,16xAFHQ ;)

Yeah, but it still kills me seeing guys with conroe based system getting a lot higher score with just a single 8800.

Woo hoo, I got 10,422 with the cards overclocked to 615/975.

Great score jAkUp. With a Quad you would easily get 18k with that memory and graphic card OC.

So I am guessing 17K+ is realistic on my new system being built if the QX6700 is running at about 3.4Ghz with a pair of 8800GTX boards in SLI.

Thas slightly below average. I get ~10K with the same stuff.

what is your ram speed/timings? Try closing all other programs maybe...

CPU @ 4.55GHz ;)
Will try with 2x8800GTX and new VGA blocks sometime within the next month.
Only used 8800GTS at 600MHz core and 2GHz memory, nothing useful. Should be good for 19K+ with GTX when benching properly at good temps.
