This is from the closed "Evil AGP8X monster is going to take over the world" thread from feedback. I wanted to post a reply there, since this sentence was just too great not to give some recognition to, but alas it is closed.
Sorry MUYA, not making fun of you or anything since I do the same thing from time to time, but I think this has topped my best efforts to date. It deserves to be recognized for a great piece of work!
The thing is here is that I think Madhadder is trying to go on about 8Xagp as if that the 3d cards should utilize them all the time or something when in fact that bandwidh to and from memory to 3d card is not utilized because games don't stress the bandwidth of the agp bus because the games/applications don't require info that it might from mainboard memory or that games themseleves don't require the use of the mainboard memory for storing textures as the 3dcard has enough memory ( 64MB is standard but I mean parhelia, r300 and nv30 can have upto 256 MB of memory)to handle the textures itself rather than to stress the agp bus enough?
That's impressive. It even keeps a continuous thought, and with just a smidgen of commas or semicolon's thrown in there would be a perfectly legit sentence. Very impressive indeed! :D
