Hi,
I just got a new computer and I tried running different 3d games, HalfLife Counterstrike, Anarchy Online, Halflife2. All games make system freeze after a round 2 minutes.
I installed newest drivers. Video Bios 5.41.02.41.0A IRQ16 pcexpress 16, 256MB memory (2 gb ram) forceware ver 81.98 Direct x 9c and 2.8 GHZ pentium D.
I ran DXDIAG and I ran the tests.

DIRECT3D looked like a box near the end of test for a split second but the rest of the time it looks like my screen when I use DEGAUSS on my monitor. Thats what it looked like.

DirectDraw test results: All tests were successful.
Direct3D 7 test results: Failure at step 32 (User verification of Direct3D rendering): HRESULT = 0x00000000 (error code)
Direct3D 8 test results: Failure at step 32 (User verification of Direct3D rendering): HRESULT = 0x00000000 (error code)
Direct3D 9 test results: Failure at step 32 (User verification of Direct3D rendering): HRESULT = 0x00000000 (error code)

Can someone with great wisdom please help me. Please.

To force the Direct3D test to display at normal speed you must have the "Vertical Sync" set at either "ON" or "Applicaton controlled" !
