When I try to run the "CPU & BIOS Information" module in Sandra, my computer will simply shut down. The same thing happens if I try to run the CPU Burn-in tests. The individual CPU benchmarks however, run perfectly fine on their own (both the arithmetic and multi-media benchies), so I'm guessing the Burn-in test is trying to do something that is similar to the info module. I've Prime95 tested my system for 15 hours on the Blend torture test and 15 hrs on the "In-place large FFTs" test, so I'm fairly sure it's not a problem with heat or a defective part. Anyone have any ideas what's causing this? System specs are as follows:

A64 3700+ San Diego
DFI UT NF4 Expert SLI mobo
2 gigs Corsair XMS 2-3-3-6
eVGA 7800GT CO

In case anyone else runs into the same problem, I've found the cause:

Dfi has used non standard addressing for the smbuss and this is causing a conflict with the standard monitoring apps which in turn shuts down the board

I don't quite understand what it means, but at least it means there's nothing wrong with my system. :)
