Well the x1900xtx cards sure are fast, but if you're going to use your current processor then I would say that you should stick with your 7800gts. A pair of 7800gts are enough for most of todays games, but if I had to make a choice then I would definatly go with the x1900xtxs(if money wasn't a problem)!

You can always buy the XT and overclock it to XTX speeds while saving 100$.

Now that the reviews are out, a pair of 7800GT in SLI is faster than a single x1900xt and GTX512. I would say 7800GT SLI is the *budget* high performance setup of choice. Unless you want something even faster...

Yes I just checked the reviews for both setups and the 7800GT SLI would be clearly my choice.

The XTX is the better choice IMO.
