View Full Version : vBulletin Upgrade - v3.5.0 to v3.5.3
The forum software was upgraded to vBulletin 3.5.3. Please report any upgrade related problems in this thread.

hehe, didn't even notice the upgrade thus far. Guess that's a good sign then :)
Oh, and Qlitchford, if the 30 minutes to upgrade the forums were bad for ya...be thankful you weren't here several years ago when the hackers took the forums down and we all had to re-register.
I'm sure Mike remembers all too well, about that one (as jakUp, Gib, and some of the other long time members no doubt do); and yet wishes he hadn't. Restoring it all from that, must have been a royal pain...

Daaaaaaamn. That must have really sucked. Not the re-registering part, but just the fact that someone did that to this site. That really, really sucks.
And the wait wasn't too bad...the little notice popped up and I screamed "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" and then went along my merry way. I just had to find other sites to waste time on and visit in order to procrastinate from doing my school work. :p

Everything's working well so far. Plus the forums seem to have a snappier response time. Excellent. :thumbsup:
everything here in IE6 and FF 1.07 and 1.5 are working fine.

Dang, your comp must be loaded to have a capachino maker built in, which is somehow wired up to the forums here :D
Look out jakUp, your comp, just might be lacking some features afterall :lol:

The post-hack re-registration was nothing compared to the whining that occured when this place moved from uBB6 to vB. uBB6 was cgi/file based, and deleted posts didn't affect post counts. Oh, the weeping and gnashing of teeth when some of the gang found their post count down by a couple hundred posts or so...
