even i, the biggest zelda fanboy in the universe think this is lame. If someone ever saw me using that, I hope they'd drag me out in the street and shoot me.
Ahahahah!

dude I'm sure that thing is just a photoshop. If Nintendo actually released something like that they'd be the laughingstock of the nation.
It looks like they took the Warrior of Middle Earth game a little too far...

Why wouldn't they release it? They are releasing a console with a TV remote as a controller... so why not a shield and sword? And yes... this looks extremely lame and one other reason the Revolution is a crappy idea. I don't want to be swinging crap around just to play a damn game.
well...they put a sword controller for dragon quest 8 japanese limited edition, you can also swing the sword while in combat mode to attack monster, so I am not too suprise to see that for revolution. You don't know what the Japanese can think of for their enterainment.
Edit: Sorry the game was not Dragon Quest 8, it was Kenshin Dragon Quest. I remembered I saw it in Hong Kong when I went back there 2 years ago, and the time doesn't seem fit with DQ 8 so I found out it was other game.
Just another gimick from Nintendo. If this doesn't show you that Nintendo is clearing focusing on only the young gaming crowd then I don't know what will!
