View Full Version : 360 Ruby Video at TeamXbox
Just wanted to let you guys know that txb has the hi-res 360 ruby demo video up. I believe it was used a while back to showcase 360 gfx ect...(nana2)
720p (http://hardware.teamxbox.com/movies-hires/2829/ATI-Ruby-Demo/)
480p (http://hardware.teamxbox.com/movies-hires/2830/ATI-Ruby-Demo-in-Standard-Definition/)
Ahh yeah, that was the tech demo ATI was running on the Xbox 360 back at E3. They ported it to PC for their X1800 line too, so you can even download the tech demo from their website.
I would be cool to be able to download that from xbox live marketplace - ome tech demos would be fun

Hmm, maybe someday they'll port 3dmark to the Xbox 360 :D
Did anyone else notice that the audio on the 720p version is messed up?

Yes. Not only that, but the video is skippy in some places. I ran some higher bitrate 720p videos just to make sure my comp was doin ok and it ran the others without a hitch.
Regarding the audio, when I play the 720p file the audio restarts halfway through the video. The video keeps on going till the end but the audio starts over. Very wierd?
Same here... oh well... maybe MS will release the video on the 360 marketplace.

I wouldn't mind that at all. I almost enjoyed tinkering more than playing.

And what would be the point in that? Not like you can upgrade the 360's hardware...

Oh YEAH!?! Let's see you try and stop me! (bud)
I remember people doing upgrades to the original XBOX. Couldn't you upgrade the processor and DVD drive with a little tinkering? I remember seeing mods for those going around a few years ago.

Bragging rights, mainly. Saying that you got a system that gets 10,000 points in 3dmark05 for $400 would probably get people's attention :D
