Is there a way I can verify if my fx5700 will run a resolution of 1440x900? I have looked in the display properties and there's nothing - but that may be due to the monitors I already have.

If I can be sure my card will run it im off to buy this widescreen monitor to replace my 17" 1280x1024

I'm pretty sure it'll run up to 2560x1536.

Your monitor is what has to support the resolution you're trying to attain.
