Zalman VF700LED & X1800XT

Anyone, using this combo? How does it work?
I'm not sure the vid block (ZM-GWB2) that comes with the Reserator1 Plus is up to the task of cooling the 1800XT OC'd, in fact I think it killed my card(that's another story). I'm waiting to hear back from Zalman on the matter.
I have a VF700LED I could use in place of it....

I used a VF 700 on mine, worked great and lowered temps. Ran at 12v though.

Thanks, when I run the VFs I connect up to a motherboard 3pinner, even full up they are not very loud
