On my Windows XP start menu there is MSN Explorer, Internet Explorer, MSN Messenger and Windows Messenger.

What are the MSN things?

If I click on MSN messenger it looks almost identical to Windows Messenger. I haven't tried MSN explorer because it first wants my email address and password etc. What's it all about?

MSN explorer is IE and messenger rolled into one, it has the basic functions of IE, and intergates messenger into it. I used to like it because of of its nice looking interface, then I got sick of it overtime and much prefer using IE6 and messanger.

I use MSN Explorer all the time now. Where ever I go, my e-mail, my favorites, my messager, everything is there ... if the other computer has MSN.

Unfortunetly, you now have to pay for MSN 8. So it is not longer free, which of course sucks!!!

If you have to pay for a service, then might as well use MSN and get this great software. MSN is really better than 7 which is what came with XP. Clearly with version 7, IE6 was better.

Each to their own, just my opinion.
