I was looking in my case today, and noticed that some of the pins in my X-Fi are bent over? Is this normal? If not I will take it back to Best Buy.

No it wasnt damaged, it normal, I got the same when I took a look at the back card for serial number and saw some bend pins.

I think that's normal. The same pins in your picture are bent on my card too. I'd say it's nothing to worry about.

It's perfectly normal. I work for a company that does contract manufacturing of circuit board assemblies. Through-hole components are typically crimped either by hand or during machine insertion so they don't fall out before the board goes over wave-flow soldering. When I first started working there about 10 years ago I spent a few days doing hand insertion and many, but not all components had to have their leads crimped. Also through-hole resistors are often place by what is nothing more than a glorified stapler. I spent about six months doing that too, but I've been in the SMT department ever since.
