I thought console games weren't supposed to get patched. While it is nice they are updating this game I am concerned that this could lead to developers pushing games out the door faster with bugs because of this option.

What happens if you own a copy of Call Of Duty 2 for the 360 but do not have the optional hard drive? Also whats the deal with releasing game patches on a console? If they keep this up the 20gig hard drive is not going to last long.

What happens if you don't get the harddrive is you dont get the patches. Its as simple as that. I think even MS made it pretty obvious in stating that the Core version of the 360 was a ripoff, so whoever got it deserves to not have patches.


As for the 20 gig harddrive filling up with space, I doubt that will happen. Reason being is you wont save ALL of your patches on the 20 gig harddrive. When you are done with a game you will have to delete your old patches/save games. Kinda like those things we used back in the day called "memory cards".;)

Worst case scenario, you buy another harddrive.
