View Full Version : Thermaltake PSU
Do you think a Thermaltake (tr2) 430w psu with 18 amps on the +12v rail will power my system sufficiently?
Rig in sig...

And would it power it sufficiently if I add maybe another gig of ram to it in the future?

maybe.
:( ...well the thing is I can get that for $30 and well; it seems like such a bargain. Either than or a 580w raidmax powersupply for 80 but iono when that will come in stock; and I just got my case and I don't want to wait. Soo, I need some suggestions on what I should do.
Initially I wanted to raidmax but now I don't want to wait..i was planning to make the raidmax last till my next rig...but not I'm not sure and am going for this really sweet deal...

i am almost positive it'd run your system without an issue, that is however IF YOU DON'T UPGRADE, anything more than a 6600 GT will sap the power right out of it, forget about a 7800 in there with that power supply, however, with another 1gb of memory like you said i see no reason why it wouldn't power your system flawlessly
okay; then maybe I will get it....
