I was looking to upgrade my ram from 1gb to 2gb(1gb sticks) and i was just wondering.. whats better.. cas2 ram with tight timings at pc3200 overclocking with a divider.. or cas3 ram at pc4000 going 1:1? I think i heard somewhere that amd cpus love tight timings and that it was better to go cas2 and use a divider. Is that true?

In this case you will more then likely get better results running it at 1:1 and having a high FSB even with timeimgs set to 3-3-3-9-1T is going to be better then useing a divider and running your memory slower with tighter timeings of 2-2-2-5-1T or least this was the case for me.

I have the 2 gigs of Patriot that is rated at PC3200 at 2-3-2-5-1T ,but it has no problems running at 3-3-3-9-1T at DDR500 .
