You know the little metal pieces on a mobo where the screws go. My question is: Are Those Metal Pieces suppose to touch the case or not?

What exactly do you mean? :wtf: you should be using spaces that screw into the holes in the case, then place the mb on those then screw the motherboard into those. Your motherboard shouldnt be touching the case at all!! Doest that answer your question?

Use motherboard standoff's to prevent shorting. I still had problems with my mobo shorting, so I used old braces's rubber bands as insulating washers. Works enough to keep me up and running.

Yea that answers my question. But i figured out what my problem was. I fried the darn mobo
