Dude your sig is pretty big....

Anyway my system is under recommended so unless they are talking out of their asses I should be able to play it fine.

Thats not too bad. If I will be able to play it maxed out at 1024x768 with no AA/AF (or maybe a little AF), then I will be happy. PC version for sure. Thanks for posting.

Meh, that looks pretty standard to me...

The specs are about what i'm expecting .. not too bad.

It's a good thing imo. This kind of means they're not watering stuff down too much just to get more sales.

Yeah same here...

Those videos that are on their web-site are pretty damn nice.

Yep. Time for a 360 for me.

EDIT: Didn't that guy say that he could play it fine on his GF4Ti? I don't see that under supported cards...

That means it will run like dog**** on a 6800 and X800. If you don't have Jakup's rig a 360 is the best choice. Hell it's the best choice period imo, 16:9 > 4:3 . Does the PC version have native 16:9 support? I can't play games in ancient 4:3 anymore...

No, most of it is 16:10 when supported.

I know what you mean. From my experience recommended = game runs like crap. XBOX 360 means perfect framerate on highest settings plus force feedback in the crontroller. Circut city says a truck is comming in friday morning and the warehouse has 1000+ XBOX360s. That means they are probably getting like 12.

I dont know... I think you guys should wait till we have some reviews or some first hand previews of the game on both platforms. Ive never seen a console game that had a perfect framerate. I just have a feeling that this will run well enough, but far from "perfect" on the XBOX360. Still, if you are on the fence about pre-ordering for 360 vs. PC, wait it out.

Plus with the PC version you can tweak it, with the 360 version you have to put up with what the devs want you to run it at.

but what am I going to do? My AthlonXP 2100 and 6800GT sure as hell won't run it the way I want to. I can either spend $2000 upgrading my rig to Jackup's status, or I can buy an XBOX360 for $399 + tax.

I just hope they don't limit the graphics options on PCs due to releasing it on consoles as well. Some of the other threads had me a little worried.

Yeah... I guess support for mods is terrible, better graphics, more customization is just STUPID!

BOO FOR MODABILITY!

Yours is sort of on the edge... your CPU is way outpaced by your video card. I think a 6800GT will be plenty for this game. Maybe not at 1600x1200 with AA but probably at 1024x768 with everything maxed.
I dont know about that CPU though. Youre in sort of a crappy spot because of unbalanced specs, so if you have no problem with the X360 version, then thats probably your best choice. Although itd only cost you around $200 for a nice 3200+ A64 and one of those ASRock boards with PCI-E and AGP. And the devs have said many times that the Core X360 without the hard drive will not run the game as well as the one with the hard drive. This means longer load times and probably some stuttering. Also, its worth noting that the X360 only has 512Mb of ram... that has to limit some of the game's capabilities (ie, draw distance, texture resolution etc.) when compared to a PC with a gig or more.

512 of ram is fine for a dedicated gaming console. I plan on getting the 360 with the hard drive. Devs have stated that the XBOX 360 will be equivilent to a PC with the highest settings turned on at 720p.

It would be a little more complex than $200 to upgrade my PC. I have to buy new ram as well, and then I might as well get a new power supply. Also, if I upgrade to a new motherboard, I would want to get a good one (an ASUS SLi) which means I have to buy a PCIe video card, then it's a whole mess. My plan is to wait until cards with unified shader architechture (ie WGF 2.0) come out then build a new rig entirely.

Then the 360 is the best choice for you. Not everyone needs JAkUp's rig to play it on PC though. :)

A GF4ti is faster than some of those cards listed (like the radeon 9000). However, those are the cards that Bathesda has tested it with, and can 100% confirm that they will run the game.

But Iwouldn't be surprised one bit if you could run the game on the GF4Ti, the Radeon 8500, and of course, the Radeon X1900 :)

It probably has to do with the pixel shader version. I think the GF4 has 1.1 or something... the radeons have 1.3 i think. Its the same deal with Battlefield 2. New games use 1.3 minimum for some reason, so GF4 and GF3 ti cards are screwed. There might be some sort of work around but most likely youd have glitches or it wouldnt work at all.

WOWwwwOWW!! You've already compared the 360 to the PC version and can attest to the graphical differences? Write a review!

Mods bore the **** out of me btw. Why would I want to "customize" the game? Morrowind customizations were lame as ****.

Even with the Xbox Morrowind looking like crap versus the PC version in high res, I found it a much more enjoyable experience.
