Anyone here into UFC? I know a lot of you probably were a couple years ago and got sick of it but this is fairly new to me. I only recently started watching it when they were showing old matches on SpikeTV. I'm downloading the torrent of UFC57 now to see how I like the PPV stuff. (nana2)

Yeah my brother bought the PPV over here and I recorded it on my DVR and watched it live... that Liddel Couture fight was BS. Liddel is such a lucky SOB and Randy Couture was SOOO winning that fight, but as usual, Liddel gets one lucky hit (Couture slipping in this one, and then of course the eye poke in Liddel/Couture 2). I am getting sick and tired of people being in love with Liddel, he isn't that good of a fighter, honestly. Couture was and always will be the champ.

yeah my torrent finished and I watched the whole thing last night. I was f**king pissed Randy got lamed like that. It was obvious the slip was the only reason Chuck got in the first big punch. Then because of the way he landed, there wasn't much he could do on the ground. The best fight of the whole show was the first between Nick Diaz and some other guy I forget his name.

i'd buy PPV if it was in HD
UFC > King of the Ring > K1 > all the other wannabe's
However i enjoy watching all of the first 3 :). The wannabe's are pathetic though.

I guess if Liddell knocks someone out he was just lucky the other guy didn't block the punch by Hunt's logic.

sounds like Couture pwned himself. One who slips has no footing. Face it, Liddell is champ, and won the bout. Just Like Seattle "should" have won the superbowl, was in the endzone 4 times, but each time, their own mistakes negated them.

yeah it's not like he lost his footing due to being off balance. it was more like when you step on a patch of black ice you didn't see in a parking lot or something.

a win is a win. In fighting, the winner usually isn't usually the better athlete, its the one who doesnt **** up. Grats to Liddel for knocking his ass out AGAIN
I was flipping through the channels tonight and on FSN they were showing a Pride FC match. I'm not sure how old it was but Liddell got his ass kicked by some guy. This is the first time I've heard of Pride FC but I guess Chuck isn't all that great in this different format.

Yeah... Pride probably has the better fighters right now... Fedor Malienko (or something similar) is freaking awesome.

Don't judge a fighter on a loss. Chuck losing to Jackson doesn't mean "he sucks". By that logic Randy sucks as he's lost 8 times.

oh is that who the fight was with? I was only half paying attention until the end and then forgot by the time I posted.
